ENERGY OF THE WEEK – Chodesh Sivan

Look at this amazing piece from the B’nei Yissaschsar which describes the unique energy that’s present throughout the entire Chodesh Sivan:
"On this day [Rosh Chodesh Sivan], begins the domination of the constellation of T’omim [twins]; therefore specifically on this day they [the Jewish people] became a holy nation through the unity with their Creator k’v'yachol – like twins1."
In this month we build a unique unity with Hashem. It’s not like in Chodesh Nisan when we were in the infancy stage and Hashem "jumped forward" to save us2. Now after Sfiras Haomer and Kabolas HaTorah we have matured spiritually, and we now become "related" to Hashem – so to speak3 – just like two twins are related to each other.
The way to understand this is on the neshama level. Each one of us includes G-dliness within him. The Ba’al HaTanya zy"a describes this as a "Chelek Eloka mima’al mamesh" – an actual "part" of Hashem – so to speak – resides within each of our beings4. It is the special G-dly soul within us. In this respect, each of us represents a "twin image" of Hashem’s presence in this world.
