Questions and Answers in Shalom Bayis

Hi I read your post yesterday and would love if you could speak about the situation where the opposite dynamic occurs in the religious home (where the women is the spiritual seeker and the man is davka the more practical down to earth one). Many of my friends have the same dynamic in their home as well. Do you have another model that can fit with this dynamic. Thanks for your time, Devora in Yerushalayim

Always remember that your goal in Shalom Bayis is to bridge between two paradoxically opposite natures, and thus to reveal Hashem’s Name in the world. The purpose of presenting the general differences that exist between men and women in this series, is only to act as a tool to help you with insights as to how to bridge those differences when they arise. But your goal must be to find the specific balance that will work in your particular situation and in your particular Hashgacha that Hashem has given you as a couple.
